Pole Dance Classes
Pole Choreo 1-2
Learn a new pole routine each class at a beginner-friendly pace. While the focus is on choreography rather than tricks, routines may include optional two-handed spins, simple seats and accessible basework. Sensual styling is common, though each instructor brings their own interpretation and style! This class is suitable for beginners, but we recommend taking a few Level 1-2 Pole Tricks classes beforehand to feel confident with basic pole movement and terminology.
Pole heels and kneepads are recommended.
Pole Choreo 2-3
A more challenging choreography class for students ready to work with quicker pacing, detailed transitions and more challenging basework. You’ll learn a short routine each session, with movement and styling designed for dancers who are comfortable with the prerequisites. Movement variations are provided, but the overall level requires confidence learning pole choreo in a group setting and the ability to apply foundational pole skills within flow. Pole heels and kneepads recommended.
Prerequisites: Wrist-roll pirouette, cup-grip pirouette, fankicks, two-handed spins, pole seats.
Pole Flow
A continuous pole movement class focused on transitions, basework and low-flow pathways rather than learning a set routine to music. You’ll be taught a flowing sequence of linked movements, then given time to explore it at your own pace; adding detail, layering in tricks, or stripping it back as much as you like! The aim is learning clean pathways whilst exploring your own individual movement style, with plenty of space for freestyle. Suitable for a wide range of levels including beginners, but we recommend taking a few Level 1-2 Pole Tricks classes beforehand to feel confident with basic pole movement and terminology.
Pole heels are welcome, kneepads recommended.
