About Us
Provocafit is a queer-owned pole and dance studio built for adults who want movement that's fun and joyful, not punishment or a chore! We provide pole, burlesque, sensual dance and creative fitness classes for everyone from complete beginners through to seasoned dancers. Our space centres women (trans women are women), trans and non-binary folk - especially those from LGBTQIA+, sex-worker, and neurodivergent communities. We celebrate pole’s strip-club roots with pride. Classes are warm, inclusive, pleasure-focused, and built around expression over perfection. If you want a studio where your whole, authentic self is welcome, you’ve found it.
Values
Inclusivity
We champion fairness, inclusivity and equality and will do everything we can to ensure our studio is a safe space for everyone who wishes to join us. We're especially passionate about providing a safe community and training space for our sex worker, LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC friends - please get in touch if you need reassurance or help accessing the studio.
Community
Our studio family has grown to become a huge source of pride since we opened in 2021! The support, respect, friendship and hype that emanates from our studio space has always been and will always be modelled and encouraged by our instructors and students.
Authenticity
The roots of pole are embedded in strip club culture and pole dance and pole fitness were brought into the mainstream by strippers themselves. This fact is at the heart of what we do and is why "sexiness" is at the foundation of our studio. "Sexiness" is complex, subjective and diverse and will feel and look different for everyone. That's why we encourage you to be your full authentic self and embrace sexiness in a way that feels right for you. We'll help you embody your own "sexy" by prioritising creativity, individuality and openness.
Meet the Team
Our team is small but mighty! Provocafit instructors are handpicked for their knowledge, teaching ability and embodiment of the Provocafit ethos.

Hi loves! I've been pole dancing for over 10 years, teaching pole and dance for 5 years and performing professionally for 2 years. I love giving polers and dancers a strong foundation in their early days so they can safely and confidently develop their skills with their own authentic style as they grow. My specialty is stripper-style choreography; on the pole, floor, chair and everything in between! I also adore challenging myself and my students with new styles and techniques, and this is seen in my teaching and performances. As a neurodivergent dancer, my teaching style may be different to what you've seen elsewhere. I understand the need to be flexible, adaptive and responsive, both in the movement I create and the way I teach it - and I'll always encourage you to do the same and put your own twists on what you learn!

Jenna
Hey Provocafit loves, I'm Jenna. I first found aerial hoop in 2018 and pole a few months later. It's literally changed my life, bringing me so much acceptance and confidence to be my whole self. Through many adversities, pole kept me alive and helped me achieve so many goals I'd have never dreamed possible. Joining the instructor team at Provocafit in 2022 (Xpert qualified instructor since 2020) I've been blown away by the warmth, love, kindness and talent of our students. It's unlike anywhere else; A place of sassy, sexy, strong, supportive, vulnerable, honest and real humans I adore to be around and share my knowledge with! I'm proud to be a part of your journey - from strength to flexy tricks, flips and fun, building your confidence is what I live for... And I can't wait to meet you!

Harriet
Hi I’m Harriet! I've been teaching pole for 3 years whilst studying Veterinary. I usually teach tricks but I’ve loved branching out to teach choreo at Provocafit. My favourite part of teaching is watching everyone’s confidence grow through pole dancing, even just from the beginning of the class! I love the values that Provocafit stand for and am even a student myself here at the studio so don’t be afraid to come say hi in classes if you see me!
